Visionary Spotlight: Nelson Henry Shaping the Future

Nelson Henry, Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region of IBSA USA, is proud to work at an innovative and collaborative company, with a corporate culture that truly “values people.” He explained, “We have products that are good for people, and we treat our people well,” and it is this company-wide commitment to the pillar of “Person” that keeps him motivated to do his best every day.
As Regional Sales Manager, Nelson works to make sure that every employee he hires is optimally trained and resourced. He also strives to provide Health Care Professionals (HCPs) with all the information they need to help their patients achieve positive health outcomes. When his team identifies new ideas and opportunities, Nelson knows he can take these ideas to Michael Scully, Head of US Commercial Operations, to see if they can provide value on a national level.
In the near term, Nelson hopes his team will continue to exceed their sales goals and that all his team members will win the Veloce Award trip. The award recognizes high-performing members of IBSA USA's sales team, and winners have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable trip to IBSA's Global Headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland, and visit beautiful sights in the surrounding area. Nelson has traveled to IBSA’s headquarters three times, and he enjoyed spending time with the employees in Lugano and witnessing how IBSA’s products are manufactured, and shaping the future of the world we live in. He was particularly impressed with the company’s top to bottom commitment to quality, from product formulations to state-of-the art production facilities to the integrity of day-to-day business practices. Nelson also found himself inspired by the company’s commitment to growth and its ability to “roll with the punches of a fast-changing industry.”
In five to ten years, Nelson is excited to see members of his team “soar” as they are promoted into new positions that meet their own career goals. He also plans to continue building his team so it can maintain and even exceed current performance, especially as IBSA adds new products to its ever-growing portfolio. Nelson is proud to help drive sales at IBSA USA, a company which he believes consistently works “to make the best product and the best solution for a portion of the market.”
